Glass Protection
Combination of self-adhesive cork widely used as a material to absorb the vibrations which occur in the transporting of glass panels or other fragile items.
REMOVABLE cork pads can be described as a combination of self-adhesive cork which acts as follows:
– Cork is an excellent anti-vibration material which prevents materials being transported from colliding with each other, absorbing all of the movements and vibrations, avoiding the breakage of the materials being transported.
– The adhesive allows the adhesion of the cork pad to the material being transported without leaving residues.

Desiccant
Since the advent of the dual-lite insulating glass (IG) industry, one of the cornerstones of a well-made IG unit has been the desiccant system. The main role of a desiccant is to remove all traces of moisture and chemical vapors that may be present during the construction of the window unit. The second task is to maintain a low dew point over the warranted life of the unit and beyond. If a desiccant system meets both these criteria, a well-constructed window should provide many years of trouble-free performance even in the harshest of climates.
As IG construction methods advanced, the demands on the desiccant system grew more complex. The ability to remove larger organic molecules that may outgas from sealant systems, paints and muntins between the lites became necessary to prevent formation of a chemical fog. This fog became easier to detect as construction with low-E glass grew.

Description of product: Global Brokers desiccant employs non-metallic minerals as the main raw material, being a kind of adsorption product for the needs of insulated glass, are suitable for all types of insulating glass. Its mainly suitable for organic glasses and moisture layers of insulated glass for avoiding formation of dews within insulated glass as to maintain good transparency under different temperatures and ensure the effect of insulated glass.

Product Characteristics: Conformance to the international requirements for environmental protection degradability. Strong moisture absorbing capability and stable moisture absorbing velocity. Low dew point with excellent workmanship, and possibility to select the grain sizes and good fluidity.
Laminating Film
Laminated glass is a type of safety glass that holds together when shattered. In the event of breaking, it is held in place by an interlayer, between its two or more layers of glass. The interlayer keeps the layers of glass bonded even when broken, and its high strength prevents the glass from breaking up into large sharp pieces. This produces a characteristic “spider web” cracking pattern when the impact is not enough to completely pierce the glass.
Laminated glass is normally used when there is a possibility of human impact or where the glass could fall if shattered. Skylight glazing and automobile windshields typically use laminated glass. In geographical areas requiring hurricane-resistant construction, laminated glass is often used in exterior storefronts, curtain walls and windows. The interlayer also gives the glass a much higher sound insulation rating, due to the damping effect, and also blocks 99% of incoming UV radiation.
PVB vs. EVA: 1. Ethylene-vinyl acetate EVA Interlayer lamination Film(EVASKY) has better adhesion for many kinds of materials, like PET FILM, GLASS, SI CELL, ALUMINIUM, COPPER, POLYCARBONATE.
2. Ethylene-vinyl acetate EVA Interlayer lamination Film(EVASKY) has better high temperature resistance, and humidity resistance. The high temperature resistance is tested under 85 degrees Celsius and 85% relative humidity for 2000 hours.
3.Ethylene-vinyl acetate EVA Interlayer lamination Film(EVASKY) has less posibility for causing bubbles and delamination, because itâ??s viscosity is lower than pvb interlayer glass lamination film.
4.Ethylene-vinyl acetate EVA Interlayer lamination Film(EVASKY) is better at aging resistance. After tested after 85 degrees Celsius and 85% relative humidity, the laminated glass with Ethylene-vinyl acetate EVA Interlayer lamination Film(EVASKY) is keep transparent, while the laminated glass with pvb interlayer film appers haze.
